the day after

Is there anything more welcome today than a steaming cup of turkey soup? Enriched with rosemary, parsley, and thyme broth, chunky with sweet carrots and fresh celery - and a little jasmine rice.

Ahhhh, leftovers!! And what's better than a turkey sandwich? Yummm.

I made acorn squash just as you suggested: baked it, a little salt, pepper & butter and a pinch of thyme! Katrina, it was so good! Thank you so much. (It's not that I hate squash, just not it's biggest fan; but I really thought that was tasty!)

And just how was your Thanksgiving holiday? Wonderful, I hope. Many thanks again!

Hey Barb! Sounds like you had a delicious Thanksgiving - and have I won you over to squash?
First Thanksgiving in eons I hadn't hosted. While I missed the bustle and a warm house filled with food cooking, I had a great time being a guest. Not enough leftovers, though!

Hey Sarah! Did we go over the top yesterday? I feel like that today and honestly didn't indulge half as much as I usually do......
